Scholarly studies of creativity
Creativity is a hot topic being researched, studied, and discussed among scientists, psychologists, educators, and business leaders. For the holidays my family gave me “The Cambridge Handbook of Creativity” a comprehensive scholarly compendium of current thinking around the world about the origins, processes, and results of creativity. It’s going to take a while for me to work my way through the book, but I look forward to plowing through it. The chapter on “Everyday Creativity” was in and of itself worth the price of the book. These snowy days allow me to read and plan, schedule more interesting guests for the coming year, and let ideas bubble up. Good stuff is coming.
